Our PALM CITY “Micros” program

hosts families from South Stuart, Central Stuart, Palm City, Port Salerno, Palm City West, Becker Road / Verano Falls in Port St Lucie and Harbour Ridge,

FALL SEASON 2024 – (late August thru to mid November)

Overview : Through small-sided games and one on one coaching, our Micro Soccer program provides children aged from 3, 4 & 5 years old (Mighty Micros – Participants born in 2019, 2018 & 2017) and 6 & 7 years old (Super Micros – Participants born in 2016 & 2015) years old with the opportunity to have fun as they play and learn the game of soccer.

Children in our Micro programs will obtain an understanding of the skills sets needed to play the game of soccer and start to develop those skills that are developmentally appropriate for each individual player on with and with-out the ball.

The Mighty Micros program focuses on having fun and introducing the basic soccer fundamentals:

1/ moving with the ball
2/ sharing the ball
3/ getting the ball
4/ finding space with the ball
5/ protecting the ball

Cost:   $175 for 12 weeks

  • Fees include a complete soccer uniform; a size 3 soccer ball and professional training from a USSF Licensed trainer. You only need to buy size appropriate shin guards.

Schedule & Locations: Monday and Friday Nights from September 9th through Friday, November 15th  

  • Monday Nights at Justin Wilson Park Field 5 (JWP5)  Justin Wilson Park is off Mapp Road in Palm City. Field 5 (JWP5) is opposite the racquetball, pickle ball & tennis courts at the north end of the park. The field is surrounded by a fence.
  • Friday nights will be at The Football Farm, 6155 SW Leighton Farm Ave, Palm City, FL 34990.

Times:

  • Mighty Micros – 6pm through 6.30pm.  4U (2021)/5U(2020)/6U(2019) – The year is for the year of birth of the participants.
  • Super Micros – 6.45pm thru 7.30pm.    7U(2017)/8U(2018) – the year is for the year of birth of the participants). – Cost is just $175 for 12 weeks

(some games may be at Pineapple Park, Jensen Beach, the coach will announce if and when in the season this will occur).

Our JENSEN BEACH “Micros” program

hosts families from Jensen Beach, North, East and Central Stuart, Hutchinson Island, Seawalls Point and South Eastern Port St Lucie/St Lucie County.

WINTER SEASON 2025 (early January thru to end February)

Our winter “Micro’s” program description for our Micro’s U4 thru U8 rec soccer.

Winter 2025 combines the Jensen Beach training and games with the Palm City program to introduce new experiences and locations for the players from the Fall 2024 season.

Training is scheduled to commence Tuesday 1/14/2025. At least one session a week will be taken by United States Soccer Federation licensed coaches. One session a week will be small sided games 3v3 and 4v4 and taken by the parent volunteer. Volunteer parent coaches from the fall recreational program may register for the Winter season and new parent volunteers can apply during the registration process.

Training on Tuesday evening at Justin Wilson Park (Palm City) and game night on Friday evenings at The Football Farm (Palm City).

All players will train with players equivalent of their own level (so their maybe COED teams and some players may play up in age group).

Players are required to have proper soccer attire and equipment which consists of the following:

* club issued uniform

* shin guards (must be worn inside socks)

* soccer cleats (baseball or football cleats are not permitted)

The winter season for birth years 2017 thru 2021 will commence with training on 1/14/2025 and games are likely to be scheduled to commence on 1/17/2025.

* Birth years 2019-2021 – 6pm thru 6.45pm (Boys and girls) – Mighty Micro’s

* Birth years 2017-2018 – 7pm thru 8pm (Boys and girls) – Super Micro’s

SPRING 2025 (February 21st thru April 25th 2025)

Spring 2025 micro’s is another season just like the Fall 2024 season. Training and games are on a Friday at The Football Farm in Palm City.. Martin United & Jensen Beach soccer club registration for the 2025 Spring Micro’s program opens on Feb 2nd 2025. The first night will be on February 23rd 2025 and runs thru April 26th 2025 (10 weeks). Registration/Uniforms Registration fees include the club’s uniform for all participants which includes one shirt, one short and one pair of socks. In the winter academy, dress code of players is strictly adhered to. Training = “Lava” shirt, navy shorts, navy socks It is very important that you enter the correct size of your player as that is what you will receive. No ball will be supplied to players for the winter season. Program Description Training Training and games are scheduled to be hosted on Fridays. At least one session a week will be taken by United States Soccer Federation licensed coaches. Sessions per week will be small sided games 3v3 and 4v4. We would follow the US Youth Soccer curriculum of Play – Practice – Play; Training on Friday evenings at The Football Farm, 6155 SW Leighton Farm Ave, Palm City, FL 34990. They have an undercover facility on a turf field. No rain outs !!! All players will train with players equivalent of their own level (so their maybe COED teams and some players may play up in age group). Feb thru March 2022 “WINTER ACADEMY” – MINI SEASON – Started 2/2/21 and closed 3/8/22

2022 Winter Academy – Stage 2 of our recreational player development program for Jensen Beach, Stuart and Palm City residents.

Martin United registration for the 2022 Winter Micros season opens on January 15th 2022.  This is the next step of a recreational player’s pathway to develop skills and knowledge in our winter soccer program. From age U4 (2018 year of birth); U5 and U6 (2017 and 2016 year of births .

This Winter clinic provides a recreational player with continued growth through our proven player pathway.

Martin United offers ALL participants a higher level of training, executed by professional trainers from our travel program, for all our players. This is an 6-week soccer clinic, with training once a week, with a more detailed player focused curriculum to build skills, soccer IQ, confidence in possession of the ball and what to do when you don’t have the ball. Many players who participate in the Martin United “Micro’s winter season” program are better prepared to play in pressured game environments.

Registration/Uniforms

The registration fee to $120. All participants will receive one session a week conducted by a nationally licensed USSF trainers.

Registration fees include the “Winter Academy” performance T shirt for all participants which is in the club’s “academy” training shirt color.

Training = “Coral” shirt, royal shorts and socks.

It is very important that you enter the correct size of your player as that is what you will receive. No ball will be supplied to players for the winter season.

Program Description

Training will be in a “play – practice – play” format in 4v4 small sided games.

Training is scheduled to commence Friday 1/21/2022. This training session will be taken by USSF “C” licensed coach. Volunteer parent coaches from the fall recreational program may register for the Winter season and new parent volunteers can apply during the registration process.

Training is once a week at Justin Wilson Park (JWP), Field 4. Justin Wilson Park is on Mapp Road, Palm City 34990. JWP4 is the multipurpose field next to the baseball fields.

Winter games / training will be from 6pm thru 6.45pm.

All players will train with players equivalent of their own level (size 3).

Players are required to have proper soccer attire and equipment which consists of the following:

* club issued uniform

* shin guards (must be worn inside socks) and supplied by parents

* soccer cleats (baseball or football cleats are not permitted) and supplied by parents

Our Spring 2022 “Mighty Micro’s” registration is now open. Program starts 4/18/2022.

Our “Mighty Micros” program continues for another six weeks starting Monday April 18th from 5pm thru 5.45pm with Coach Zute, a USSF C licensed coach.

Location will be at Justin Wilson Park, field 5 (north end of the park by the pickle ball fields).

With fun and innovative games the players will learn to have fun with the ball. Players will be learning to coordinate thought and movement (motor skills), listening skills, scanning, processing and technical skills both in a pressured (actual soccer game)and non pressured environment (the “show” based training) . Not to mention the social development aspect of mixing with other kids and families while learning from an educator or from watching others to become successful at a new habit.

To keep costs low, no uniforms or balls will be provided for each player. Players are required to bring a size 3 soccer ball and water bottle labelled with their name / initials on it. The coach will have a few spare balls if a player forgets one. Coach will provide pennies.

Parents are responsible for the following:
1/ All players must wear appropriate soccer apparel which includes soccer cleats, long soccer soccer sock, soccer shin guards, soccer shorts and a moisture wicking soccer shirt. Previously registered players can wear a previous Martin United uniform or shirt.
2/ Water bottle with the participants name or initials on it.
3/ A pumped up size 3 soccer ball.
4/ A relaxed and supportive attitude to their participants self discovery and problem solving experience.
5/ Not to direct their player during the session.
